Atelier Roan is a full-service residential design firm
We take our clients from conception through completion, creating refined, personalized spaces that evoke a sense of grace and warmth. Our favorite projects involve assisting our clients with a wide range of challenges including: designing custom millwork and furniture, selecting architectural details and finishes, collaborating with architects and builders, and decorating beautiful spaces with quality furniture, fabrics, and accessories.
Principal designer, Grace Rosenstein, finds it her purpose to create an environment for her clients that brings comfort, functionality, and style into their lives. Her style is best described as timeless and elegant, layered with natural details. She has a talent for mixing classic silhouettes with antiques and rich textiles - the results are warm, refined spaces that inspire grace and ease at once.

These services are for clients who have recently purchased a new home or are looking to renovate or design their current home. Full-service clientele value the design process, custom one-of-a-kind pieces, thoughtful design, and working with talented design artisans and craftspeople.
We are a boutique studio that offers a hands-on, custom approach. We work with two to three full-service clients each year pending scope and timeline. We are currently taking clients on our waitlist as these full-service opportunities book-up quickly.

Our Process
We love that no two projects or clients are alike and we pride ourselves on creating unique and beautiful designs that reflect our client’s genuine nature. Our design process typically takes 9-12 months from conception to installation and is divided into 5 different phases:
Research + Discovery - meet with clients to discuss project objectives, access and create project drawings.
Furniture Plans + Budget - develop furniture and lighting plans to show design possibilities within the space.
Design + Presentation - source all products including: furniture, fabrics, floor covering, antiques and lighting.
Purchasing - create detailed proposals, finalize finish selections and create all orders on behalf of our clients.
Project Management and Installation - schedule and track all design items, oversee construction and installation.

Our consulting services are perfect for someone looking for advice and guidance on their design decisions.
Consulting Package $3,500 USD
- (3) 1:1 Video Calls, 55 minutes each
- Take-aways vary by project and may include: inspiration board, vendor referrals, design sketches, etc.
- If located in Fairfield County, one of these meeting can be on-site!

Please note that we do not put together shopping lists as a part of the consulting service. There is no way we can advocate for the quality of retail pieces we have never felt in person. These services are for someone who wants design advice, style direction and feels comfortable taking it from there! We do not place any purchases on behalf of our consulting clients.
